Anita Blake, Volume 03: The Circus the Damned by Laurell K. Hamilton

Synopsis: I tell you frankly: I stress! We live in a universe really clans MI-PI-blooded! Take for example Jean-Claude owns, among others, Circus of the Damned, a box plugged into the most profitable. Well, it is surrounded by people who either want to kill him or take his place, or both. All of the vampires, of course, with teeth that line the floor. You tell me that even if the sense of humor, BC, is also a vampire and that his main ambition seems to make me his slave. Maybe I should finally let the werewolves and others devour them. And rather devote myself to prevent harm to my dear zombies ...

Caution, risk of spoilers on previous volumes.
My opinion:
History: This time, Anita finds himself with vampire murders on his hands and a little new to the art form of resuscitation! And there is Jean-Claude, Master of the city which some would take place. She has a very difficult job and must learn to avoid offending sensibilities!
Characters: So far, I liked Anita! But in this book, I must say it amazes me! She manages to get out of unexpected situations by sheer force of his character (along time the massacre but the author does not kill ...). Even in impossible situations, she tries not to crack and find the exit door. She meets new characters, as Richard's friend Jean-Claude and Larry, the little young she must train. I was delighted to find Edward, but always cynical can count on which Anita (Edward is always interested in news that Anita can give him but he tries to help him). The villains in this volume are fairly well described, but it was hard to imagine the lamia ... (I liked Oliver and his origin by cons!)
What I liked: Despite all the characters different, the author manages to make us enter the world of Anita very easily! We follow with pleasure the investigation, we doubt the same time she and we ended up being disappointed by some people. But above all, relations with the different characters evolve in interesting ways and we see more Jean-Claude, Master of the city. The author leaves no dead time and suddenly it's hard to let go, we want to know what happens in the next chapter!
What I did not like: not much in this volume except that the author is suffering hard things to Anita but it still relies a phenomenal rate! Otherwise, the pace is good and you never get bored!
Rating: 17/20
Finally: Volume 4 is in my PAL, I think I'll read it quickly enough to know what happens to Anita!
