For the curious, if you click on the image, you can easily read what I wrote for each theme. Normally, I write all my "journaling" on hand because I find that memories are just richer, but given everything I wanted to write and little room to do it, I resigned myself to serve the computer.

On the left side of my page, I made a point of patterns and color as on my previous page. That's what comes "unify" the whole.

Because I cheated and wrote my text on the computer, at least I'm making my way back to the hand. To do this, I simply used the smooch plated silver (# 119967, page 195) and a stampin 'write black nude.

Dark Powers, Volume 1: The Summoning, Kelley Armstrong

Synopsis: If Chloe was in a movie, nobody would doubt her when she admits to seeing ghosts. In real life, her father and her aunt sent to Lyle House, a psychiatric specialist for teens. Doctors there say she suffers from schizophrenia.

But residents seem to hide a few secrets too ... And Chloe would not be surprised to find skeletons hidden in closets. When one of his comrades told him that she is perhaps necromancer, she decides to discover the truth about power and about the strange place where she is confined.

My opinion:

History: Chloe believes mad when she starts seeing ghosts. Her father and her aunt decided to send a special home in disorders behavior. They will diagnose schizophrenia until she realizes that something is not clear in the way of acting manager of the home, aided by special beings ...

Characters: Chloe is a girl of 15, who is in a school of art and is nourished by a high, his father being absent all the time and his mother died when Chloe was 8 years. When she starts seeing ghosts, she goes through all the stages from denial to acceptance, but she eventually realized that the "evil" which gnaws may not be so taboo than it looks. The young people she meets in the home are very eclectic. On one side, girls, Liz dippy, Tori Rae and the evil which is a bit odd and the other boys, Derek and Simon who are half brothers. All this beautiful world is found there for various reasons and they are supervised by a battalion of "prison guard" and by doctors. It attaches easily to Chloe, the author coming to us their feelings and let us get into the character. I liked the evolution of Derek who eventually unfold in a manner quite unexpected!

What I liked: Chloe gradually discovers his power and that of others and we also at the same time. I liked the fact that the author does not tell us suddenly and leaves a bit of suspense as to the end (which I had absolutely not guessed ...). Reading is very fluid and enjoyable and we are dedicated to Chloe, his doubts and his discoveries! The characters are fairly well documented that one can imagine them through the eyes of Chloe. The discoveries they make to Lyle House will put all their little world upside down and history will get carried away. I'm looking forward to play the T2 to see what the author and their reserve how they are going to act!

What I did not like: some minor downtime, especially when Chloe asks questions about what happens to him but overall it reads very well and very easily.

Finally: firstly a big thank you to Galleani have lent it to me! I think this series gladly continue to discover more things about Chloe and her friends because Volume 1 brings us the water at the mouth.

Sarah Dearly, Volume 1: Michelle Mordue Rowen

Synopsis: tough week. My visit to hell ... was really hell, and he bit me! I became a vampire. But I still met a man that night. It's sexy, he has six hundred years and it is suicidal. Nobody is perfect, right? We spent a deal: he teaches me the tricks of the vampire world and I help him kill himself. Well, it is not won with an immortal, but I know I can convince him that life is worth to be lived with me ... preferably ! Except that a lot of people want us to skin, starting with the vampire hunters, those idiots who do not understand anything. Anyway, if everything goes as planned, I will have a jumper at the wedding of my cousin!

My opinion:

History: Sarah wakes up when she is being buried alive. It turns out that his appointment is a vampire who comes to transform it. She learns to know after having denied their existence of vampires and their enemies, the vampire hunters. Comical situations in attempted murders, Sarah will try to live beyond its first week, helped by an old vampire suicidal!
Characters: Sarah is an executive assistant who had other desire in life as an actress for example. Unfortunately, she found no outlet and therefore works in Toronto, 3 hours drive from his hometown. Her best friend Amy (that can not be invented ...) it shows a man, Gordon, who turns out to be a vampire and turns it on their first evening. She then meets Thierry Bennicoeur old vampire master of the city trying to teach him the basics and Quinn, vampire hunter who goes wrong. Even if we follow the story from the perspective of Sarah, all these characters will interact and Sarah as we learn to know them. Although at first it may seem superficial, it turns out that Sarah is honest, full and a bit mad! It takes everything to heart and a spirit of contradiction rather important! As for Thierry and Quinn, the focus gradually to them, like Sarah, even if a preference is clearly discernable on the end of the book! And I admit that I made the same choice that ... Amy, his girlfriend from work a little crazy, is also very engaging and I loved her stoicism in a certain scene ...
What I liked: This reading allows you to relax and immerse yourself in Sarah's world very easily. It is fluid and fun, the adventures of Sarah being somewhat unbelievable! I liked his way of thinking and acting, to see its transformation and to trust some people. Although we know that vampires do not exist, we described the stories seem plausible and suddenly we attach easily to heroin!
What I did not like: is at times a bit simple or implausible (bizarre she meets Quinn at all street corners!) But it's nice and Sarah is a smart girl!

Hello world!

Yes! Another page of my album! You'll see a score like that, as and when I create them. This is one that will be part of a double layout. The other part will be presented next week since I have not yet completed. The theme of these pages is simple: "Ten things I love." On the next page, there will be some details explaining each topic.

As a basis, I left on a paper pattern of all "mesh smoothly" on page 32 of minicatalogue occasions. I mounted everything on a framing mambo melon cardstock. I want to say that all the pages that I will be manufactured from paper that you have in your kit at Scrap Gang. Be sure to look at what we offer in the kit to bring with you to provide the tools and embellishments that you would like to serve you.

To my background, I stamped images from the beautiful stamp set "Friends Never Fade" (page 99) with Versamark and embossed with the all clear powder and black. I must say that I also used the background stamp "Wonderfully worn" (page 141) to create texture. The sponge and inks camoufleur mambo melon just black and I have been very useful to make shadow puppets everywhere on my page. I say and I repeat, this is my secret weapon! Cheers sponges daubers!

The smooch spritz can also be more than interesting on scrapbook pages. This creates shine and texture. Two features that I like to have on my projects but that ... you already knew!

On projects of this kind, I tell myself: "Damn the expense!" and I put the brads! Do you want in there they Another 3D touch it is important not to underestimate. Here you can see only a few but there are two dozen small labels on my right side of my picture.

short, I am more than excited about our project in Scrap Gang, so I am going back on the field to finish my next page to show it to you Monday!

Worlds of Ewilan, Volume 1: The forest of the captives, Pierre Bottero

Synopsis: In the first volume of this new trilogy, Ewilan has matured. After being held prisoner of the institution, a building in which researchers are testing the rogue extrasensory faculties of human guinea pigs for the purpose of total domination, and tortured by the Sentinel treacherous Eléa Ril 'Morienval, who took the lead, Ewilan escapes with the help of his friends. Having with difficulty recovered his physical strength and mental relief from her children remained trapped and helps shed light on the horrible crimes committed by a strange serial killer, half man, half insect.

My opinion:

History: Ewilan and Salim decided to take a vacation and return "France" for a little courtesy. Unfortunately, things do not go as planned and Ewilan is kidnapped. Salim will then everything to save him and relearn to live.

Characters: Ewilan and Salim are caught in a cycle that leads Ewilan far into madness. The poor will be tortured by his enemy and still only arrives Salim, thanks to his love and his care out of its torpor. The feelings they inspire me are pure and the author helps us to love them. It is hard to see them suffer. I loved Maximilian, the great loving father who collects them without question and accept him as they are when they show the reality. And Edwin, as soon as we find breathes life in this book. Characters are in general very well described and we imagine as if they lived next to us. But my favorite in this volume remains Maniel. Even if we do not see much, his strength of character and status of vassal to make a colorful and endearing.

What I liked: Find Ewilan made a very foolish! The pen of the author is still involved and we follow the adventures of fun with this girl who has grown up. The plot, though simple is very well done and new characters are introduced. As for descriptions of limestone, I loved diving into a corner of France I do not know! Salim's humor, although this volume is more "black" than previous ones, is always present and I love the relationship they have forged with Ewilan.

What I did not like: I really missed Gwendalavir and its wonderful scenery in this volume ... The world that I was amazed to discover in the quest for Ewilan is very present here. I hope this will be different in the two following volumes! The characters of the volumes are seeking Ewilan too little present for 2 / 3 of the book but what a pleasure to find them during a particularly difficult passage for Ewilan and Salim.

TA-A-BOY! What you do us great happiness to me and Mélanye! Your reply facing our 4th Edition can not do otherwise that make us extremely heartening because within two days of publication, we filled 35 seats on the 40 available! Indeed, you understand, there are only 5 seats! If you did not even contacted to reserve yours, I strongly advise you not to wait one minute to do so. Given the high demand, we probably tried to add a dozen extra seats but we can not promise anything because we'll have to check some technical details before (space requirements, equipment, etc. ..). We will do our big as possible because I know that several interested have not yet registered and will may be disappointed to have missed their chance. In short, we'll keep you posted, watch the blog Scrap in Gang and our respective blogs and Mélanye to me!

Today, as promised, I present you a first page of my album "100% Me" (draft Scrap en gang). This first page is the one with very simply about the album, that is to say "BIBI"! LOL

I chose to include the title "Please Your identity" and I make the computer a false card type "passport" written on it with two or three pieces of information about me. Most details have been made with the help of the Big Shot and various hand punches. All paper used will be found in the kit issued to each participant at our event.

Consider using your stamp sets when you design your pages. See, here I used the game "tote-ally tess" (page 60) and I changed it to the little lady has a few of my tunes. lol

My secret weapon in any project of scrapbooking: camoufleur sponge! Remember to bring your ink and your sponge daubers at Scrap in Gang because I think that's what makes all the difference! I put it squarely everywhere!
